This book is an absolutely pristine, "perfect" bound copy of a 1916 book on Russian Grammar. Unfortunately, the old original copy is NOT as pristine. There are several pages with hand marking, including marks through the four Russian letters which were eliminated two years after this book was published. Of course, these eliminated letters continue to pop up throughout the rest of the book. For someone interested in an additional volume for your Russian language textbook collection, this would be a very worthwhile purchase. It might be your last chance to buy a grammar book on Amazon that has the term "Accidence" as a major heading in the Table of Contents.If, however, you are looking for a good book to help learn Russian grammar, there are several modern titles available which seem much better suited for those of us living in the 21st Century and since the fall of the Soviet Union. The Penguin books are very useful for beginners and anything by Terence Wade would be ideal for intermediate and advanced students.
